What the Sandbar says…

Connie… I have to pick “Dreams” as my song of choice on this album. It seemed to relate to my life at the time the album was released in 2002.  Love when Kenny sings a ballad and this one just radiates to my soul. Hearing him sing this live many years ago in Jacksonville was a great concert moment for me. That same show he signed my ticket stub so, that was a great night!

“She swears she won’t divorce a third time
She swears the more she knows about love
The harder it is to find, the perfect picture of her white horse prince
Is now dependability and common sense
Someone kind and brave, someone not afraid of…dreams”

Michelle…”No Shoes No Shirt No Problems” I love this song because it is how I feel when life gets busy and we just need to put our toes in the sand. Although we live very close to the beautiful Florida beaches, life keeps us very busy with kids and jobs. The words to this song just remind us all why we need to take sometime to recharge! No better way than with that warm white stuff under your feet!

“Want to soak up life for a while
In laid back mode
No boss, no clock, no stress, no dress code

No shoes, no shirt, no problems
Blues what blues hey I forgot them
The sun and the sand and a drink in my hand with no bottom
and no shoes, no shirt, and no problems”

No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems is the sixth studio album (7th overall) of country music singer Kenny Chesney, released in 2002 by BNA Records. It produced five chart singles on the Billboard country music charts between 2001 and 2003: “Young” (number 2), “The Good Stuff” (number 1), “A Lot of Things Different” (number 6), “Big Star” (number 2), and the title track (number 2). A music video was made for “Live Those Songs”, which charted at number 60 without being released as a single. “The Good Stuff” was the biggest hit of Chesney’s career at the time, not only spending seven weeks at the top of the country charts, but also becoming Billboard’s Number One country single of 2002 according to Billboard Year-End. The album itself earned a 4× Platinum certification for sales of four million copies in the U.S.
