Broken heart?

Kenny Chesney has an answer for that and it involves a Viking 45 Open, fishing under sunny skies with a cooler and a labrador, and the Bahamas.

When we saw the fantastic “Save It for a Rainy Day,” we reached out to Viking to get the back story since the 45-foot boat is as much of a star as Chesney.

The owner of the boat works with Larry Smith at Galati Yacht Sales, said Viking spokeswoman Mary Foust.

“Kenny is a boater, but does not own a Viking Yacht … yet!” Foust told Trade Only Today.

The chocolate lab that gets a cameo is the boat owner’s dog, Stormy. The flats boat that is shown is owned by a different Viking Yacht owner.

The owner of the 45, who didn’t want to go public, said it was “an incredibly fun day, for sure!”

Though not close friends, the owners of the 45-foot Viking had met Chesney before the video was recorded, around the time Chesney was writing the songs on the Big Revival album, which is how the whole thing came about.

“He is one of the nicest, friendliest and down-to-earth people you will ever meet. As was all the crew he had with him. A top-notch person, for sure,” the owner wrote in an email to the Viking team.

“We are very lucky he asked us to participate and want to be sure he comes fishing again. This time without a camera crew,” he said.

The video has caused buzz among other Viking owners, Foust said.

“We have received plenty of feedback from Viking enthusiasts: ‘That boat steals the show,’ ‘I’m giving my two weeks notice and moving there,’ and ‘I want that beautiful boat,’ ” she said.

We think fishing in the Bahamas from a Viking 45 Open with Kenny Chesney sounds like a pretty good way to forget a bad breakup or an otherwise lousy day, too.
