A Love Fest In Charlotte!

Hey guys it’s Connie and I wanted to share my experience from the Charlotte show with y’all. So, my 63rd Kenny show was a top 10 for me and here is why…

People ask Michelle and I all the time how we could keep going to so many Kenny concerts. They simply are not all the same and Charlotte was a prime example of this. Kenny gave us his entire being in song in that little amphitheater! I feel like he touched every person all the way to the lawn with his spirit and love for playing music. His smile was unstoppable.

Kenny’s energy was boundless. He was actually jumping up and down with excitement. I was extremely close and could honestly feel his connection to us. It’s an amazing and emotional feeling of happiness. We were singing every single word back to him and it seemed to fuel his energy. He became embroiled in the passion of the No Shoes Nation, something I don’t always see or feel at every show I go to. When this magic happens it is simply a spiritual revival of sorts. It certainly happened in Charlotte. After last night it became clear why one more Kenny show is never enough. Who would not become addicted to that feeling of joy and love? The same goes for Kenny… he has become addicted to us as much as we are addicted to him and his music!

Kenny Chesney’s love for his fans is alive and well and it was felt overwhelmingly in Charlotte, NC. After the show Lisa, Jennifer and I joked that he made love to the audience, but realistically he did just that. I walked back to my car and teared up a bit. It hit me how much all the shows and the people we have met from the page really have filled our lives with so much joy and happiness. To think Kenny gets this same feeling 10 times stronger from the No Shoes Nation… Wow!
