“Flip Back Friday” Album Rewind Vol. 15
Greatest Hits II
The Sandbar Says…
Michelle… Summertime “Man, I love this song! No matter what time of year I hear this song, it takes me to all of our favorite summer pastime, which is seeing Kenny on stage somewhere in the sun. It’s kinda our theme song I think. It does remind me of a time when I was young and summer meant nothing but fun but as an adult now, I can’t help but thinking about my favorite summer activity—singing along with my BFF (Connie) and other awesome friends and thousands of strangers as we watch Kenny do his thing! And, it’s almost that time people!! WOO HOO!”
“Summertime is finally here
That old ball park, man, is back in gear
Out on 49
Man, I can see the lights
Perfect song on the radio
Sing along ’cause it’s one we know
It’s a smile, it’s a kiss
It’s a sip of wine, it’s summertime
Sweet summertime”
Connie… Never Wanted Nothing More ” This song just make s me happy. “I live to laugh and love a lot” I live by those words. I love to laugh and hang with all the No Shoes Nation friends, living life to the fullest. What better way to live life but laughing and happy. I picture Kenny’s life as being similar to this song.
“I took Katie down by the river with a six dollar bottle of wine
Just a fool tryin’ to play it cool hopin’ she’d let me cross the line
I was praying that she couldn’t tell I never been that far before
The first time’s a one time feeling and I never wanted nothin’ more,
No I never wanted nothin’ more..
Well I’m what I am and I’m what I’m not
I’m sure happy with what I’ve got
I live to love and laugh a lot
And that’s all I need”
