“Our Thoughts On 2025”
TOUR DATES FOR 2025… WHEN WILL THEY BE ANNOUNCED…
Every year there is this horrible time between the last Kenny show of the tour in August to when the next tour will be announced. This leaves so many “unknowns”. “When will tickets go on sale?” “Will Kenny do a full tour?” “What cities will he go to?” “What will the name of the tour be?” Of course, the biggest question is always “Will Kenny tour at all?”
The No Shoes Nation plans their summers around the tour decisions Kenny and his team make. It is so hard to make any plans for the summer of 2025 because we simply don’t know anything. But wait, we do know a few things and we decided to put togther what we do know! Here ya go.
- Does the silence from Kenny camp mean no tour? We don’t think so at all. If you research previous years of tour announcements, we usually get the tour dates announced anywhere from the end of September all the way to December.
- Kenny is performs at Tortuga every other year since 2013 So, since he didn’t do it last year we are hoping for him to do it in 2025. Fact is, many of the big festivals have already announced their big headliners. Lainey Wilson will be headlining Country Fest 2025 in Wisconsin. Taste of Country’s big festival in Hunter, NY has Luke Combs & Blake Shelton headlining. In Colorado, Country Jam has Luke Bryan, Cody Johnson and Bailey Zimmerman. Stagecoach in California has Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll and Luke Combs and The Buckeye Country Fest in Ohio has Kane Brown & Jelly Roll. So, with all that, we don’t know if Kenny would consider doing the festivals that are left.
- We all know Kenny loves to perform outdoors. So, maybe an amphitheater tour? Awesome yes, but then you have to factor in the Lawnie Pass from Live Nation. What is a Lawnie Pass? It is a country music package featuring the summer’s biggest concerts at many participating Live Nation Ampitheaters. Purchasing one Lawnie Pass gives you access to several concerts in the package at a specific venue. These passes get released sometimes before the artists start selling their individual tickets. As of today those passes are not forsale yet. This all takes a lot of organizing with artists and their tour schedules. Once all of that is completed they can announce their dates. Individual artists that are part of the amphitheater’s Lawnie Pass might hold off on announcing their own full tour schedules until all of that is worked out.
- Tour name? Who will tour with him? Well, from what we have been told, the name is usually decided near the end of the previous tour. Then comes the planning of the tour graphics and venues during the fall and winter. That is usually what we would get from Kenny camp first, then would come the tour dates and line up. If you research previous tours Kenny tends to do a big stadium blow out tour one year and then the next year it’s a much smaller dialed down tour with festivals and amphitheaters.
- No Shoes Radio… Kenny loves to announce his tour details there first. It is a good idea to have a membership on Sirius XM and listen as much as you can! We will usually get some sort of post on all the offical Kenny Chesney social media outlets, telling us to tune into NSR for a surprise announcement.
- So, do Connie and Michelle know anything about a tour name or dates? NO, we do not. Kenny Camp is very quiet right now. We are sure they are in the planning stages if he plans on touring in 2025. Honestly, they will send out a press release when they offically have the information. We will get everything to you quickly once it comes out!
- Not even a show at Gillette? A possible Gillette show, due to hotel prices at Patriot Place. They are still jacked up during the weekend that Kenny would normally play at the end of August. Just speculation of course.
Can we plan our summer vacations, trips and adventures yet? That’s up to the No Shoes Nation. Be careful if you plan on sticking a Kenny Chesney show in there. Have a back up plan if he decides to come visit your city after you make other plans. Realistically it “could” be January or Februray for all the tour dates to be announced. We certainly hope not, but just wanted to prepare you all just in case! Oh, now is the best time to save up for that concert ticket!
