Adam & James… The Male Version of Connie & Michelle?”

We are always on the lookout for members of the No Shoes Nation to highlight for our “Fan Fridays”. We couldn’t think of two better fans for you all to meet than Adam & James. They started a podcast that had us hooked. Just the title is enough to get you curious.

Here is a little background on our new friends. James and Adam met in high school, and became friends through another friend. From pick-up basketball games, their friendship evolved to road trips together. That’s when Adam introduced James to “Flip-Flop Summer,” a deep cut from a special Target Edition of The Road and the Radio. James was hooked, and much like Adam when he first heard Kenny from his dad at age 7, he was gone, and he ain’t back yet. 

Kenny’s music has that effect, in that it stamps our lives and takes us to places many artists can’t. Now, nearly nine years since they’ve graduated high school together, they are starting a podcast set to dive into Kenny’s discography. The podcast is aptly titled, Live Those Songs Again: A Kenny Chesney Podcast. Their first episode is out now, and they plan to dive deep into the records, the songs, the shoes, and those experiences that make up the magic of No Shoes Nation. Their goal is to give No Shoes Nation a podcast to explore the music, and to hopefully discuss a songs that fans will discover, and even rediscover.
